PENNEY'S ADVENTURE JAMAICA

DAY 7

Port Antonio to Ocho  Rios

 

Departing  the  hotel at  around 10:00 am,  we will  spend  the  morning  at Frenchman's  Cove  beach until around  2pm  to  continue  our  journey  along Eastern North Coast of  the  island covered  with  lush  green  vegetation,  banana plantation, coconut plantation and  small  fishing  villages. We  will make  our  first  stop in Hope Bay at Somerset Falls (1 ½ hour ).This 97-acre property with a breathtaking garden, complete with ponds and waterfalls was  once  a sugar cane plantation. Overflowing with crotons, bamboos, ferns, cocoa plants, indigo and moss-covered trees (to name only a few), the garden grows on the banks of the Daniel River. We will spend  about  1 ½  hour exploring  the  gardens, a short  hike up  to  the  water falls for  a short boat  ride to  observe some of  the  most  unique  rock  formation  and waterfalls even go  for  a  swim  in the  refreshing mineral  rich  waters.  We  will  continue  along  the  Eastern North coast  into  Ocho  Rios  where  we  will  spend  3 nights.

DAY 8:  OCHO  RIOS

ATTRACTION: BOB MARLEY NINE  MILES AND DUNN'S RIVER FALLS

Departing after breakfast at 8:00 am  we   will take a 1 hour  scenic drive through some of the most breath taking picturesque scenery in Jamaica into the interior hills of  the Parish of St Ann to nine  miles. This is where the legendary 'King of Reggae', (Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley),  was born on February 6th 1945, this is the very same place he was later laid to rest. You‘ll  get  the opportunity  here  for  a One Love, One Heart,  Lets  Get  together and Feel  Alright  Tour  of  the  house, Bob Marley’s Mausoleum and hear stories about  Bob’s  life growing  up  in the hills of nine miles.  After the tour Relax,  take  a load  off,  kick back relax, have a red stripe beer and  enjoy  some live reggae  music.

 

We  will  continue our journey to Dunn's River Adventure upon arrival  at  Dunn's  River  Fall  there  is  a changing are  for  you  to  change  into  your  swim wear,  if  you  didn't  bring  your own water  shoes you can  always  rent  some  at  the  fall  just  let  your escort  know  this.  You  will  walk  down  to seas level where the  falls starts and  join a  group to  form a a  human chain  and start  your adventure on the falls.  You  can  bring  along  your  camera  but your  guide will  snap photos  for you  on the  falls  while  you  climb, but  there  will  also  be  a videographer  who  record  the  entire  climb  and  also  take  still photos   at  the  end  of  the climb they will  have  DVD‘s  and photos for  sale. After  some leisure  time we  will depart  for  our  highlight tour  of  the  town  of  Ocho Rios.

WHAT TO  BRING ----  Remember Casual  dressing short & T-shirt, bring  along  your  swim                                                    wear, camera sunglasses, bug  spray, water shoes wear a hat, sun screen, bring                                     an extra  pair of  shorts  & t-shirt   don't  foget  your towel .

DAY  9 

OCHO RIOS TO MONTEGO  BAY

ATTRACTION : GREEN GRATTO CAVE, COLUMBUS PARK AND RIVER KAYAKING ON THE RIO BUENO RIVER.

INCLUDED: BREAKFAST  *  LUNCH

 

We  will  have  a late  start  today ,  departing  the  hotel  at  around 10 am  our  journey  today keeps us heading  towards  Montego  Bay  with  our  first  stop  at  the Green  Gratto  caves  in  Runaway  Bay  where  will  explore  the  cave  for about 2 hours  then  on  to  Columbus  out  door park.  After Columbus park  we  will  head  to to  the  Rio Bueno  River  for  our River Kayaking  Adventure  our  day  will  end in Montego  Bay  where  you  will  spend  the  next 5 days  relaxing. 

 

What to Bring ---- Remember Casual  dressing short & T-shirt, bring  along  your  swim wear, camera sun                           glasses, bug  spray, water shoes wear a hat, sun screen, bring an extra  pair of  shorts                            & t-shirt  towel .

 

 

 

While  staying  in  Montego  Bay for DAY 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 our  Night  life tour could  be when ever  you  want to  go,  take  your pick!  your  escort  and  your  driver  will  be  there  with  you to make  sure  you   have  fun.  We'll  do Margaritaville  dance  til  dawn  and  pair 1.  Your accommodation will  be  a  private  villa  with  a swimming  pool  but  we  will  be  available  to  take you  to  close  by beaches  like Doctors Cave  beach and Tropical  Bliss  beach  it  will  be  all  up  to you what  you want to  do  for  the  next  5 days.
